Our Culture

The Lake. The Bear. The Ball.

Three pillars that define how we coach, compete, and grow together.

Unity

The Lake

Regardless of where you come from, we ALL touch the lake. North, south, east, or west — the shores of White Bear Lake unite us all.

Culture

The Bear

Be a B.E.A.R. — Built on Effort, Attitude, and Resilience. From kindergarten through 12th grade, this is how we do things in White Bear.

Fun

The Ball

If we make football fun, our athletes keep playing. They build character, friendships, and memories that last a lifetime.

Four Decades of Bears

Established in 1983, the White Bear Youth Football Association is an independent non-profit offered in cooperation with the White Bear Lake Area School District. We operate solely on donations, sponsor fees, and volunteer effort.

When a young person joins our program, they join a community striving for excellence, achievement, and teamwork — values that carry far beyond the gridiron.
